Grants ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 to Florida nonprofits, community groups, colleges and universities, schools, teachers, and students in the Tampa Bay area for water protection projects. Funding is intended to help protect drinking water sources from contamination and pollution.
Projects that include public outreach, education and the opportunity for public official involvement are encouraged.
Examples of eligible projects include:
- Stream clean-ups, river bank restoration and stabilization, and watershed conservation.
- Educational or informational activities and resources, such as training, seminars, workshops, exhibits, learning materials, and school activities.
- Projects that address community concerns and reflect community values, such as best management practices implementation and awareness campaigns.
- Others such as tree planting, festivals, and fairs.

Applications are accepted August 1 through November 15 each year.
