Awards to Colorado businesswomen in eligible counties for exceptional contributions to their companies and their communities. Awards are intended to recognize outstanding women who are leading their industry and communities through this ever-changing and challenging period. Eligible nominees are located in the Denver metro area: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson Counties. Women will be honored for their accomplishments in 12 categories and one Lifetime Achievement Award winner.

Outstanding Women in Business are people who embrace change, inspire others to follow, and deliver results. Nominees will be judged on their professional accomplishments, innovation, and community involvement. Self-nominations are encouraged.

Eligibility:
- Self-nominations are encouraged.
- Nominees must have a physical presence in the Denver metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties)
- Finalists from previous years are eligible for nomination for the 2021 program; however past Outstanding Women in Business winners may only be nominated for the Lifetime Achievement award.
- Please note the contact information provided must be that of the nominee and nominee company officials. Public Relations firms nominating clients must provide the direct contact info for the nominee and should inform their clients of the nomination.

Pre-Application Information:

Nomination deadline has been extended to 11 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2021. (No extensions)

Finalists and winners will be showcased in a Denver Business Journal special section published August 20, 2021, and recognized at a special awards celebration on Thursday, August 19.

All nominations must be submitted using the website template.
