Grants to Wisconsin organizations in eligible regions to benefit women and girls. Funding is intended for programs that promote economic independence, improve health and literacy, teach leadership, prevent violence, and encourage personal growth. Programs must take place in Winnebago County.

The fund's purpose is to support women and girls by making resources available for causes of interest to women, fostering among women a sense of empowerment and philanthropy, and increasing awareness throughout the community of the importance of women’s issues.

Funding Priorities

Priority areas will complement the Fund's current parenting initiative; the Fund will look for programs, services, and/or education that strengthens its parent community. The Fund will also focus specifically on mental health programs for women and mothers at this time.

There will be an option for a multi-year grant if the program supports that need.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations in Winnebago Country that benefit women. Applicant organizations may be located outside of Winnebago County, but the grant must affect women and girls in Winnebago County.

Grant exclusions:

- Debt reduction or retirement
- Political or lobbying activities
