Contracts for services to New Mexico individuals and organizations to monitor and implement forest management projects. The contractor will provide technical and professional services to the issuing agency by ensuring that projects align with the funding source's standards and by supporting fuels reduction and defensible space projects in areas throughout the state.
The State of New Mexico, Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD), Forestry Division (Division) is seeking proposals for Forest Contract Inspectors (FCIs), who shall assist the Division with writing forest stewardship plans and management plans, inspecting forest management projects, marking trees, mapping project areas, and providing reports related to underlying funding. The FCIs shall assure that projects conform to Division standards and project work plans, shall receive their contractual tasks from the appropriate Division District Forester, and shall follow the Project Inspection Manual for Forest Contract Inspectors.
For purposes of this RFP, the state has been divided into the following six districts. Offerors may make a proposal for one or more of the areas.

The contract period may extend from the date of contract approval by the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) for a period not to exceed 48 months, including amendments.
