Grants to Rhode Island nonprofit organizations for a broad range of services that benefit local communities. Funding is intended to support services and programs in the areas of arts and culture, education and youth, responsible and ethical journalism, human services, and healthcare, with an emphasis on the homeless. Collaboration among partners is encouraged.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
The Fund supports qualified nonprofit organizations. Organizations with a fiscal sponsor may also apply.
The Foundation encourages collaboration. One organization should submit the application as the lead organization on behalf of the collaborative partners.
Ineligible
The Foundation does not fund any applicant or program with a discriminatory policy that is unlawful or inconsistent with either the Foundation's mission or values.
Pre-Application Information
Application deadlines for 2023 are March 20, June 12, September 18, and November 27.
Applicants may apply once per calendar year and can expect to receive a funding decision within approximately three months of applying.
Organizations can apply for subsequent funding, but please keep in mind that it is unlikely the Foundation's grant funds can sustain an organization or program over time.
