Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to Saskatchewan nonprofit and for-profit organizations, ad hoc groups, and businesses for initiatives that benefit residents of Saskatoon during the winter. Funding is intended to enhance community inclusion, accessibility, and activity. The purpose of the grant is to encourage economic vitality, particularly within the service, accommodation and retail sectors, as the opportunities of winter are realized and the challenges mitigated.
The purpose of the WintercityYXE Grant Program is to improve quality of life in Saskatoon in the winter months. The Wintercity YXE Grant Program consists of three components:
