Grant Description
Grants to New Mexico organizations to benefit middle school students in eligible locations. Funding is intended for organizations that encourage the passions and academic pursuits of local middle school students. Eligible initiatives and programs support and engage students such that they will stay focused on their futures and graduate from high school. Programs must benefit students within the geographic boundaries of the Santa Fe Public Schools.

The Hestia model for success, the Whole Child Framework, positively supports middle school children’s life experiences in the areas of academics, arts, sciences, athletics, health, and well-being.

Hestia believes that the social and academic needs of successful children are mutually-dependent. That’s why a central tenet of The Whole Child Framework is access to strong sustained relationships with supportive adults who bring rich developmental experiences. The Foundation seeks to fund programs that foster these relationships and promote empowered students.

Types of funding:

  • General Funding:  School Year, Year-Round, and Summer Program
  • Grassroots Funding:  Hestia Fund is dedicated to supporting new programs ( < 3 years in operation), smaller, grassroots, community-based organizations.
