Grants of $250 to New Haven County, Connecticut K-6 public school teachers for the purchase of classroom supplies that will directly benefit students. Funding is intended to support exceptional teachers in their work educating elementary school children.

Teachers selected to receive the grants will be able to use a customized online Office Depot portal pre-loaded with their grant amount. Those receiving the grants will also have access to Office Depot’s discounted program especially designed for educators; and they may share this benefit with other teachers and parents to buy school supplies.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any elementary school-level teacher, or team of teachers, in a New Haven County public school system is eligible to apply for a grant.

Candidates may only apply once.

This grant cannot be used for professional development, conferences, or in any way that doesn't directly benefit students.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline for grant submissions is 11:59 PM on August 14, 2018 and decisions will be emailed to all applicants by August 22, 2018.

Provided that the application follows the given guidelines, the recipients of the Teacher's Grant Program will be chosen at random.
