Grants starting at $75,000 to Hillsborough County, Florida nonprofit organizations and government agencies for programs and services that benefit the area's families and children. Applicants must attend a workshop prior to applying. Funding is intended for programs that promote the health, safety, education, and development of children. The purpose of the grant is to provide support for fathers and father figures with young children (from birth to age 8), and be inclusive of other family members. Proposals should use an evidence-based or evidence-informed curriculum of service delivery that sustains father/father figure involvement and is a program not currently funded by the Children’s Board.
