Grants of up to $10,000 to Hesston, Kansas nonprofit organizations, religious institutions, government agencies, and schools to support programs that address a wide range of charitable needs in the area. The Foundation focuses on six areas, including schools, public health, retirement living, organizations of faith and service, underprivileged, and town parks and resources.

HCF supports the mission of Hesston, Kansas, to “Harvest the Good Life” by granting funds to worthy organizations that strive to help Hesston become a better place for all area citizens, now and in the future. They help nurture this mission with the “Sprout to Harvest” initiative, which is centered on the above six principal areas of need in the Hesston community.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grants are awarded up to $10,000.

Term of Contract:

If the project/program has already happened or will happen prior to when grants will be made, it is not eligible. The project/program must be completed by Friday, February 28, 2020, unless other considerations are shared prior to project/program completion.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Qualified applicants must possess a 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Service code, be exempt under the statute (i.e. educational institution, church, a city or county), or be formally linked to an organization with such designation.

Management of the organization should be in the hands of reliable, ethical, and experienced personnel.

Pre-Application Information:

- Begin accepting applications date: March 29, 2019
- Deadline date: (CST Time Zone) April 19, 2019, 5:00 pm.
- Applicant organizations (awarded and denied) will be notified by May 31, 2019.
