Grants to Oregon nonprofit organizations, government agencies, community service providers, and special districts for capital projects that benefit local communities in locations. Funding is intended for capital investments in the areas of infrastructure, economic development, and livability/quality of life. The purpose of the program is to provide financial support for strategic capital investments in Gilliam County.

Allowable grant fund uses include:

  • Certain Equipment Purchases
  • Supplies and materials
  • Contractor & Consultant Costs

Estimated Size of Grant:

The Capital Investment Grant program funds requests above $20,000.

Term of Contract:

All grant funds should be claimed in the fiscal year in which they are awarded

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to apply for this grant funding the applicant must operate and/or provide services within Gilliam County, and be one of the following:
- Non-Profit Organization
- Community Service Provider
- Government Agency
- Special Districts

Ineligible entities include:
- For-Profit Businesses
- Faith Based Organizations

Pre-Application Information:

Application must be received in the County Treasurer's Office no later than 5:00 p.m., March 5, 2021.

Applications must show a minimum of 35% “match funding,” which is calculated as a percentage of the total project cost, from other sources.
