Grants to USA nonprofit healthcare organizations for training to prevent and reduce suicide. Funding is intended for travel expenses, data collection, and staff time to provide healthcare professionals with the tools and training to improve patient safety and reduce suicide rates in the community.
The RFP is designed to support hospitals nationwide through their implementation of the Zero Suicide framework. This robust support will include a virtual workshop to introduce the Zero Suicide framework, required implementation team attendance at a two-day Zero Suicide Academy®, a dedicated Community of Practice (9 months) following the Academy and consultation calls.
Successful applicants will join the Cardinal Health Zero Suicide Collaborative and make the following commitments:

Requests for Cardinal Health Foundation funding can be for no more than $100,000 for two years.
The Cardinal Health Foundation anticipates granting two-year awards. (Year two funding is contingent upon progress made in year one.)
