Funding Priorities: Impact100 is prioritizing proposed projects that address disparities resulting from systemic racism and structural inequity. Using what is known as a racial equity lens in grant-making means acknowledging that structural and institutional bias – in institutions, places of employment, government agencies, social services, policies, and culture – continue to privilege white people and disadvantage people of color, as well as other historically marginalized groups such as LGBTQ and immigrant communities. Proposals whose solutions to unmet needs take into account their systemic roots will receive priority in the grant review process.
