Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations for programs and projects to enhance the lives of residents in communities throughout the state. Funding is intended for activities that address the funding source's priority focus areas of the environment, the arts, and education. Additional onsideration will be given to applications requesting funding for initiatives that combine two or more of the primary focus areas.
The Edaren Foundation was founded with a mission to fund or assist in the funding of initiatives designed to benefit three primary focus areas:
Education: The Foundation is interested in helping communities in Texas find solutions to the challenges in Education faced due to increases in population size and diversity, economic disparity, and rapid changes in technology.
Arts: The Foundation is passionate about the Arts and the role they play in a child’s development of creativity and confidence. They also believe that the Arts play a vital role in the social fabric of any community and that the presence of a vibrant and well-supported Arts community is an essential element in improving the quality of life of residents.
Environment: A strong combination of funding research, education, and action is essential to building awareness and creating momentum toward addressing environmental problems in a sustainable way, both in the immediate term and for generations to come.
To apply for a grant from the Edaren Foundation, an applicant:
• Must be a registered 501(c)3 organization
• Should have a mission or project that matches Edaren’s mission
Ineligible
Applicant can not be an individual or political organization.
Pre-Application Information
The Edaren Foundation Board meets regularly throughout the year. The Foundation pledges to respond immediately upon receiving the complete application, and then within 60 days after that with an answer on funding.
