Disaster Relief Available for Immediate Help When It Counts

Lately, it doesn’t seem possible to escape the intensity of natural disasters, with some hitting harder than others. It seems as though Mother Nature has taken aim at making us acutely aware of just how little control we often have about what goes on around us. There may even be those who might think it would be easier not to leave home at all. Fortunately, GrantWatch has provided a list of grants available to help us address the need for disaster relief. Not only that, but GrantWatch also has a category specifically for disaster relief grants.

Whether your awareness of the unpredictable nature of natural disasters is local, national, or international, everyone has seen the impact that these events can have on communities. Just this July, a state of emergency was declared in Vermont following severe flooding. There was one stretch where more than 9 inches of rain fell in just a matter of hours! The storms dumped up to two months of rain in two days. Many areas in the U.S. have also been dealing with poor air quality due to the hundreds of out-of-control Canadian wildfires. Clearly, the need for disaster relief is on the minds of many.
