The Latest College Scholarships and Education Grants Available on GrantWatch.com

GrantWatch supports the good work universities and IHEs do for their students. Because of this, GrantWatch makes it a priority to list many grants specifically for these institutions. Many of our customers are also employees of universities, school libraries, or IHEs. In honor of these institutions’ contributions, we would like to share 8 college scholarships and fellowships currently available on our site.

Getting a college education is important when it comes to obtaining the skills and knowledge necessary to find a job. However, over the years, the price of gaining a college degree has increased substantially. This makes it harder to provide access to equal education opportunities. For this reason, it is imperative to make sure there are many college scholarships available.

Without scholarships, many students are forced to take out student loans to pay for an education. According to the organization, Scholarship America, “the total amount of U.S. student debt has reached $1.53 trillion.” This moves student loans to the second-largest source of debt, falling behind mortgage debt.

Overall, scholarships can help ease the stress of paying for college. However, many people hesitate to apply for scholarships, because they think there will be too much competition. Although, according to Education Data Initiative, there are enough public and private scholarships available for every full-time student to receive $9,744. So, do not give up! There is a scholarship out there for you, all you have to do is find it.
