Grants to Maine and Florida nonprofit organizations for programs that address the educational, medical, social, economic, and general welfare needs of local residents. Priority funding is intended for programs that improve the health and wellness of children and young adults, as well as projects that increase the educational and economic development and opportunities for youth. The Foundation's work is focused primarily, but not exclusively, on Maine and Florida.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be non-profit organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) and as a public charity under Section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code in order to be considered for a grant.

Pre-Application Information:

There is one grant application cycle annually. The deadline for submission of grant applications is September 30.

Grants are typically awarded annually in mid-November.
