Request a Grant Writer

Grants ranging from $100 to $5,000 to USA military individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder for effective treatments, assessments and needed life supports. Uses can include ABA therapy, summer camps, helmets, nutritional supplements, intensive behavioral therapy, or other services and supports.

The goal of funding is to introduce and help facilitate early and on-going treatment by providing the necessary resources (including referrals, funding, and guidance) to individuals with autism and their families.

Applications from families with multiple children with ASDs are reviewed first.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Typical grants awarded range between $100 - $5,000.

Term of Contract:

Once approved for a grant, families have 12 months to use the funds. Requests for multi-year grants will not be accepted.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

ACT Today! grants are designed to provide access to individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The Foundation will not fund:
- Transportation requests (cars, car repair, transportation passes, air travel)
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Personal Needs (rent, utilities, family vacations)

Priority Funding:
- While the Foundation has not set an income level cap, incomes below $100,000 per year are reviewed first.
- Applications from families with multiple children with ASDs are reviewed first.

Requests for endowments or multi-year grants will not be accepted.

1st Quarter
Open Application Period: January 1 - 31
Families Will Be Notified By: March 16, 2018

2nd Quarter
Open Application Period: April 1 - 30
Families Will Be Notified By: June 15, 2018

3rd Quarter
Open Application Period: July 1 - 31
Families Will Be Notified By: September 14, 2018

4th Quarter
Open Application Period: October 1 - 31
Families Will Be Notified By: December 14, 2018
