Grants of up to $1,000 to Florida schools and community and civic organizations to advance education about the environment. Funding is intended for projects that are based on sound scientific principles, cost-effective, promote the enhancement of a water resource or associated habitat, promote the involvement of students or citizens, and foster awareness and understanding of a water-related issue.
Schools, civic or community organizations in the State of Florida may apply for an E2 Grant.
Pre-Application Information
The deadline for grant applications is October 15.
FAWQC will meet after the deadline to review grant applications and select grant recipients so that funds can be distributed to the winners either before the holidays or right after the new year.
A lead project contact must be identified with each application.
Estimated Size of Grant
In general, individual project budgets should not exceed $1,000. Exceptional outreach projects in excess of $1,000 may be considered from time to time. Please contact FAWQC prior to applying for a larger grant.
If you have any questions or concerns about the application process or requirements, please contact Mr. David O’Brien at dobrien@survtechsolutions.com.
