Grants to Massachusetts nonprofit organizations and government agencies in eligible regions for projects that benefit and beautify the community in eligible regions. The purpose of this program is to promote conservation, gardening and landscaping, horticulture, and ecological wellbeing. Projects should benefit Nantucket Island.
The Nantucket Garden Club provides grants to foster local interest in gardening, horticulture and landscape design and to improve the quality of the environment through land conservation and ecological initiatives.
Each year the Nantucket Garden Club selects projects to fund that are in line with the Club’s mission and purpose. The purposes of the Nantucket Garden Club are:
The Club’s Grant Program responds to funding requests from community groups and organizations that fit the above criteria. These requests can be for ongoing programs or seed money for new projects.
