Florida Forestry Association - Florida State Implementation Committee (FL SIC)
Grants of up to $500 to Florida nonprofit organizations for programs that teach children and youth (ages 3-18) about sustainable forestry. Eligible projects must relate to sustainable forestry practices and management and the education of PreK-12 students.
The specific goals of the Educational Grant Program are to:
- Promote sustainable forest management in Florida.
- Provide direct education to students in grades PreK-12.
- Promote community-based programs.

FL-SIC hopes to provide funding annually for at least ten projects across Florida.
Up to $500
Projects are expected to be completed by October 1 of the following year.
Proposals must be submitted by a registered, 501(c) nonprofit organization.
Proposals must be submitted by October 15 in order to be considered during the current review period of the year.
Applications should be submitted by email to Mike Branch. If a proposal cannot be electronically transmitted, the proposal can be mailed to the address listed below.
Notifications will be issued no later than December 1.
