OGE Energy Corp. Foundation
Grants to Arkansas and Oklahoma nonprofit organizations and K-12 schools to benefit communities where the funding source has a business presence. This program supports institutions, organizations, and programs that improve quality of life, as well as economic wellbeing in eligible communities.
The OGE Energy Corp. Foundation Inc. will consider each request that contributes to achieving the foundation’s mission. While the foundation will consider supporting organizations in a variety of areas, such as human services, the arts and community development, a greater emphasis will be placed on early education – primarily math and science.

To qualify for grant funding consideration, your organization must meet the following criteria:
-Be a U.S.-based IRS 501(c)(3) qualified charitable or educational organization or an accredited K-12 educational institution
-Be geographically located where OGE operates
-Serve communities without discrimination against any individual on the basis of race, creed, gender, age, sexual orientation or national origin
-Have a method by which to measure, track, and report program outcomes and specific results that demonstrate measurable community impact
The OGE Energy Corp. Foundation Inc. generally does not fund grants for programs and projects associated with, but not limited to, the following:
-An individual person or families
-Building or Capital investments and improvements
-Dinners, luncheons or other forms of indirect support
-Organizations that are not 501(c)(3) organizations
-Organizations that are not geographically located in an area where OGE operates
-Political parties or candidates
-Religious activities, in whole or in part, for the purpose of furthering religious doctrine. The Foundation will consider funding faith-based organizations which provide services to all clients regardless of denomination
-Sports teams/events such as tournaments (other than Special Olympics)
OGE Energy Corp. Foundation Inc. grant support is not available for:
-Organizations offering goods or services to employees as a benefit of grant approval (e.g., participation in golf tournaments, reservations at fundraising dinners, tickets to special events, etc.)
Applications may be submitted at any time; however, they are only reviewed during quarterly committee meetings based on the following cutoff dates:
-Q1: March 15
-Q2: June 15
-Q3: September 15
-Q4: December 15
Once submitted, each grant application will go through an evaluation process, which typically takes one to three months.
