Reimbursement grants of up to $5,000 to Indianapolis small businesses in eligible locations to prepare for reopening in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Funding is intended for reimbursements of personal protective equipment, dividers, hand sanitizer stations, washable restaurant menus, capital improvements to protect the health of employees and customers, and business adjustment-related expenses. Eligible applicants are located in Marion County.
As small businesses prepare for reopening in the new realities of COVID-19, the City of Indianapolis and the Indy Chamber are partnering to help entrepreneurs and small business owners purchase necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and other health and safety-related items or services.
Allowable reimbursable expenditures are purposefully broad and follow these general categories:
For PPE expenses that do not fit in these categories, applicants will have an opportunity to justify and explain the purchases.
