Grants of up to $1,000 and grants of up to $2,500 to Georgia small businesses in eligible areas to alleviate the disproportionate impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Black business owners. This assistance will add to working capital that can help further sustain their business operations while recovering from COVID-19 administrative and operational challenges. This includes, but are not limited to payroll, utilities, and other services and products that are needed to sustain their businesses.
  2. Provide marketing and outreach support for the Black business owners supporting efforts to expand the customer base.
  3. Increase Black consumerism (a) with the creation of additional marketing to encourage the community to support Black owned business in the same way that the community has been asked to support local businesses; (b) allowing the Black residents and visitors to expand the services and products that are available to them as consumers.
