10 Grants for Nonprofit Operating Expenses and Capital Support

Many organizations are in need of operational grants and capital funding, but it can be a challenge to find funding for these expenses. Many of the grants that are available are program based. A lot of these grants also have exclusions for operating and capital support. GrantWatch.com is here to help though! As one of the top grant-listing databases, GrantWatch has 60 different grant categories grant seekers can choose from to help narrow down their search. Two of these categories include grants for capital funding and operating support.

When you search for grants it’s important to be careful of how you use the funds. Many grants don’t allow for expenditures such as utilities, rent, or administrative salaries. So it is important to seek out grants that specifically allow for those costs. Some organizations may also seek grants that allow for capital expenses. This would include expenditures such as building repair, building purchase, grounds improvement, and renovation.

Today, GrantWatch is sharing some of the latest grants available for nonprofit operating support, as well as capital funding projects.
