- Young Musician to Study Classical Music: Up to $10,000 to young musicians for costs associated with studying classical music. Funding offsets expenses like instruments, camp tuition, private lessons, and audition travel.
Filmmaking
- Independent Filmmakers for Film Production Assistance: In-kind support to independent filmmakers for assistance in producing films. The program provides professional-grade camera equipment and assistance with post-production.
- Arts Projects and Professional Development: Grants, in-kind services, and a Prize to arts collaboratives and artists. In addition to funding, artists receive consulting services and become part of a community network of fellow artists and advisors.
- Unique Mentorship Program for Filmmakers: Opportunity for nonfiction filmmakers to participate in a unique mentorship program. Awardees take part in an immersive retreat with mentors and an opportunity to screen projects.
- Independent Documentary Projects for Filmmakers: Fellowships to filmmakers for independent documentary projects. The Fellowship includes a travel stipend, accommodation, and festival passes.
- Filmmakers to Produce Feature-Length Films: Up to $15,000 and $25,000 to filmmakers to produce feature-length films. Funding supports films within the following areas of interest: civics, the environment, and education.
Literature and Written Arts
- Writers to Write Nonfiction Humanities Books: Up to $60,000 to writers to write nonfiction books related to the humanities that are geared toward the general public. Funding supports the writing of well-researched humanities books.
- Award to a Writer for Reporting on Healthcare: Award of $20,000 to a writer, editor, reporter, or team of contributors to recognize outstanding writing and reporting on matters related to health care.
- Fellowships to American History Researchers and Writers: Fellowships to researchers, historians, K-12 teachers, writers, IHE students, and others to conduct research projects related to American history.
- Promote Ukrainian Canadian Literature: Grants to writers and illustrators to promote work having Ukrainian Canadian themes. Funding supports any form of literature that connects to the experience of Ukrainians in Canada.
- Science Writing Professional Support: Up to $5,000 to individuals for projects and programs to benefit the science writing field and provide professional development opportunities for writers.
Performance Art Funding
- Musical Performances and Projects: Grants to nonprofit organizations, theater companies, educational organizations, and individuals for musical performances and projects.
- Performing Arts and Entertainment Professionals: Financial assistance to individuals working in performing arts and entertainment. Funding assists individuals facing financial hardship due to the California fires or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Nonprofits and Individuals for Artistic Programs: Grants up to $5,000 to individuals for artistic and cultural programs that enhance the connection and general goodwill between the USA and Indonesia. Funding is for literary, performing, and visual arts.
- Innovative Projects and Ideas: Up to $5,000 to youth, ages 16 to 25, to pursue innovative ideas and projects. Special consideration given to to entrepreneurship, music and performing arts, and computer science.
- Community Benefit Programs and Activities: Up to $20,000 to nonprofit organizations for community benefit programs and projects. Funding supports hospitals, schools, museums, performing arts, and cultural programs.
Fine Arts & Crafts
- Public Art Professional Development Opportunities: Up to $3,000 to individual artists for professional development in public art. Funding develops artistic skills, connections, strengthens artists’ public art practices.
- Artists for Public Art Projects: Grants to artists, illustrators, and graphic designers to develop public artworks. Funding create designs for utility cabinets. This is an opportunity to enhance the visual landscape by using utility cabinets as canvasses.
- Program Support for Visual Artists: Grants to nonprofits and individual visual artists for program and project support. Preference is for smaller organizations for project support in the areas of visual arts.
- Artists of Korean Descent to Acknowledge Outstanding Work: Awards to artists of Korean descent to acknowledge outstanding work. Monetary prizes will be awarded to young emerging modern artists. Additionally, artists will receive an exhibition in New York.
- Indigenous Artists to Foster Career Growth: $15,000 and in-kind support to indigenous artists to encourage professional artistic growth. Funding supports poetry and fiction writing, dance and choreography, video and film, music, multi-disciplinary arts, performance art, and visual arts.
